Tile Pro 2024: battery, network and subscription basics
Life360 Tile Pro (2024), Black, 1-Pack; T1701 hardware, RE-61011 retail candidate
The details that matter
Tile Pro is for finding your belongings with a compatible phone. Ring it when it is nearby, or use the app to see its last reported location. Away from your phone, updates depend on the Tile and Life360 network encountering the tracker.
The 2024 Pro has a replaceable battery, with manufacturer-estimated life of about a year depending on use. That is a useful difference to check when comparing other Tile shapes. The advertised Bluetooth range is a maximum; walls, obstructions and surroundings affect everyday finding.
Core functions work without Premium. Some extras, including Smart Alerts and expanded location history, belong to subscription plans. Check the current feature list and app permissions before activating optional services. Use trackers on your own belongings and be clear about location sharing with anyone else involved.
What stands out
- Replaceable battery
- Compatible with iOS and Android
- Free core finding features
Where to pause
- Remote location updates rely on network sightings
- Some additional features require a subscription
Make the decision
Choose around nearby finding and the network's last-reported locations. A replaceable battery can simplify upkeep, while optional subscription features need a separate decision. This is a belongings tracker using Bluetooth and sightings, rather than live GPS.
